About the Role We're looking for a Content Operations Specialist to build and manage an automated article publishing system that produces high-quality content nightly. You'll combine AI tools, editorial judgment, and automation to scale our blog while maintaining quality standards. This role is perfect for someone who understands content creation but wants to work at the intersection of editorial and technology. Key Responsibilities - Monitor trending topics and news daily using research tools to identify relevant article opportunities - Configure and manage AI writing tools to generate article drafts aligned with our brand voice - Review and edit AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, readability, and editorial quality - Optimize articles for search engines including keyword research, meta descriptions, and header optimization - Manage automated publishing workflows through CMS platforms and integration tools - Distribute content across email and social channels using scheduling and automation platforms - Track performance metrics and adjust content strategy based on engagement data - Maintain documentation of workflows, style guidelines, and optimization standards Required Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in content creation, digital publishing, or editorial operations - Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and fact-checking - Working knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques - Experience with content management systems, particularly WordPress - Comfortable working with AI writing tools and automation platforms - Ability to work independently and manage multiple workflows simultaneously Preferred Qualifications - Experience with automation tools like Zapier or similar platforms - Familiarity with AI writing tools such as Jasper or Frase - Background in data analysis and performance tracking - Knowledge of email marketing and social media distribution Tools & Platforms Perplexity, NewsWhip, Jasper, Frase, Grammarly, ProWritingAid, Surfer SEO, Google Search Console, WordPress, Zapier, Beehiiv, Buffer
